The Lions and 49ers both ran the same trick play on the same day. Both trick plays ended with an Iowa TE catching a touchdown.
Coach Shanahan said he was watching the early games when he saw the Lions score on that play, which he was already planning to call against the Cowboys. He said seeing the Lions do it successfully made him feel good about the 49ers’ chances.
Iowa has produced more NFL tight ends than any other school, with over 30 alumni playing the position in the league. There are four starting tight ends in the NFL from The University of Iowa:
George Kittle
T.J. Hockenson
Noah Fant
Sam LaPorta
Its tight ends aren’t the only work of art at the school – the Stanley Museum of Art is also on campus.
The museum has a collection of over 17,000 works from artists including Grant Wood, Jackson Pollock, and Marsden Hartley.
Pollock's paintings are some of the most expensive in the world. His painting "One: Number 31, 1950" sold for $179.4 million in 2015.
(The highest-paid athlete in the world is Lionel Messi, who earns an estimated $130 million per year.)
Pollock's first job in New York City was as a janitor. Jim Carrey, the famous actor and comedian, also started out his career as a janitor at a tire factory in Ontario, Canada.
Carrey credits all his future success to the foundation laid by the show, In Living Color. In 1992, In Living Color aired a live sketch comedy special during the halftime show of Super Bowl XXVI.
The Superbowl was on CBS, but the show, created and produced by Keenen Ivory Wayans and starred Damon Wayans, Jim Carrey, Jamie Foxx, Tommy Davidson, David Alan Grier, and T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh, aired on Fox.
The special drew over 20 million views, and they even had a small clock on the screen counting down to the second half so viewers didn’t have to switch channels back to the SB to see if the game had started.
The next year the NFL booked Michael Jackson for the halftime show.
BTW - wondering what the NFL aired for halftime? “Winter Magic” with Gloria Estefan, the University of Minnesota marching band, and two 30-foot inflatable snowman figures.
Which do you prefer? I’ve left both below for you to watch and judge for yourself:

Packers at Raiders [NO PICK]
Our model has been back and forth on the spread for this game and is flirting with the Under. For information's sake, the Over has 59% of the bets and 89% of the money (+30% differential).
There's no overwhelming data for ATS: 37% of the bets are on the Packers, with 40% of the money (+3% differential). However, it's worth noting that there are a lot of Sharps on the Raiders.
It's hard to say what to do with this information without knowing your own betting philosophy. However, if you're looking for a contrarian play, the Packers may be a good option. Just be aware that the Sharps are on the Raiders.
